Are you going into, currently enrolled at, or a recent graduate of high school, college or graduate school? Are you interested in gaining first-hand experience in running a political campaign for a progressive, pragmatic, inclusive and welcoming campaign? Do you want to spend the summer working to make real lasting change and learning new skills?
Apply to be a fellow for Ben Sigel in his historic race for Congress! Ben is seeking to become the first Latino ever elected to Congress from MA, and is running a strong campaign to make sure structural disparities and inequalities are removed and EVERYone’s voices are heard and have access to opportunities.

Campaign Fellow
The Ben Sigel For Congress campaign is seeking hard-working, self-motivated individuals to join the campaign as Campaign Fellows for the Spring/Summer of 2020. Candidates should be entering, currently enrolled or recent graduates from high school, college or graduate school who are looking to gain political experience. Campaign Fellows will learn how to execute a professional campaign plan, fundraising program, communications strategy, and engage various aspects of the campaign on team projects.
The Campaign Fellow will assist the campaign team in implementing all aspects of the campaign strategy, including but not limited to:
- Field Operations
- Fundraising, Donor Research
- Plan, develop and implement events
- Conduct press outreach
- Assist in social media strategy
- Campaign Research
Application Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer and typing skills (Excel, Word, Canva a plus but not required)
- Interest in politics, campaigns, and willingness to learn
- Access to laptop or tablet
- Team orientated approach, self starter and positive attitude
- Strong work ethic
- Access to reliable transportation is a plus but not required
- Kind to yourself and others
This Fellowship will introduce participants to all aspects of a modern Congressional campaign. In the process, Fellows will build quintessential fundraising, database, writing, and communication skills useful in a variety of full-time positions in politics and beyond. This Fellowship is unpaid, but course credit can be arranged. We are in particular looking for Fellows who can commit at least 10 hours per week.
